Christopher Wayne Chute is a photographer based out of Los Angeles, California specializing in urban landscapes and low light portraits. Raised in the small one square mile town of Artesia, on the fringes of LA county, the city has become the subject of many of his works. His work portrays the changing of time and the diversity of his hometown. the beauty and decay of this culturally segregated city, Christopher tells the unique story of Artesia.
His other works consist of elegant low lit portraits with beautiful neon hues illuminating his subjects. Dimly lit backdrops and neon rays give his portraits a nuanced feel of both sci-fi and film noir, both great inspirations to his work.
Christopher's other works involve event photography of all kinds from pet fairs to sword fighting competitions and portrait work for of family's, couples and pets; especially those with a bit of a niche and nerdy side to them. Christopher loves the challenge of bringing all our fantasies to life with film. Christopher is currently a student at Cerritos College perfecting his craft and furthering his career in photographic storytelling.
